The Pallava dynasty of kanchipuram (9th century), the chola dynasty of Thanjavur (10th century), and Vijayanagara pradhans (14th and 15th centuries) were committed devotees of Lord Venkateswara. They played a very important role in constructing the temple.

It is said that After visiting the temple Nine of ten piligrims wishes will be fulfilled.After every harati the pujari will have fresh garland for the lord and the used garland will be dumped behind the idol and all those flowers will land in the forest which is 18 kms away from the temple.

The Prasad at Tirumala is world famous for its mind blowing taste and the Devasthanam committee makes a lot to revenue with laddu's .

Piligrim's donate money , gold , silver , etc , as a token of happiness. On an average about 20.000 people shave their head at tirumala.
